As we learn that Magor & Undy Walkway Station, sponsored by Jessica Morden MP, is one of just two projects in Wales now being considered in the UK Governments ‘Restoring Your Railways Ideas Fund’. The two have made it into the list of 50 UK schemes being considered by an expert panel. You can see the full list and read more here.
We now await the outcome, expected at the end of the summer, and also whether we have been successful in our other bid to the ‘New Stations Fund’.
Similar positive news was received by the MUCH group in its aim to build the Community Hub on the Three Fields Site.
