We have recently been out and about in Magor and Undy making a video that will be a key part of the Crowdfunder process which we are going to launch early in the New Year. Crowdfunder is a way, using the internet, in which you can bring in a set sum of money for a project. As you know we are aiming to raise at least half of the money (£20,000) we will need for ‘Magor and Undy Walkway’ feasibility study (GRIP 1 and 2 for those of you in the rail industry).
Our 3 minute video which is being produced with the help of Quadrant Media and Communications Ltd (http://www.quadrant.uk.com/) will show shots around the village, the railway line, including potential sites for the new station and some interviews with local people and business owners.
It was great to work with Lynsey Green (Video Production Manager – Quadrant) and Nick Partridge (presenter and editor) and we really appreciate the time and enthusiasm they have given and shown.
More about our ‘crowdfunder’ plans in due course but if you click here you can see that our project is now gaining substantial national interest.
