Just a quick update but two bits of good news –
On the 25th September, The Senedd Petitions Committee reviewed MAGOR’s petition for the delivery of Magor and Undy Walkway Station as a ‘quick win’. Peredur Owen Griffiths MS spoke very positively of the petition and the effort of the MAGOR Group. The committee agreed to keep the petition active as there was to be public consultation this Autumn on delivery of the 5 new stations.
Since then, I understand that a Public Consultation Event by Transport for Wales has provisionally been booked for Thursday, 9th November, at the Magor and Undy Community Hub (The Hub) – Midday-8pm. Pencil it in the diary and I’ll confirm it as soon as I know for sure.
