Unfortunately the meeting with Louise Haigh MP (Shadow Secretary of State for Transport) on the 26th June was postponed again. However Ted, Phil and Jessica Morden MP had a productive meeting with Huw Merriman MP (Minister of State at the Department for Transport) on the 30th.
We have also learnt in the last month that Transport for Wales will be putting their plans for the South Wales Main Line Corridor and the 5 stations (including Magor and Undy Walkway) out for public consultation in the Autumn. Monmouthshire County Council, as the prime stakeholder, and MAGOR will be asking for early sight of the proposals.
Finally, it’s MAGOR’s AGM on the 20th July, 7pm start at The Golden Lion (Function Room). All welcome!
