Our AGM took place last night (16th) where Laurence Hando (Chairman) recapped the successes of the last year and thanked everyone for their hard work and support.
The committee was subsequently re-elected unopposed.
There was a very real feeling that the whole project is gaining traction, not just with the local community but with the rail industry, councils and government departments.
The promotional event, to explain our vision and gain sponsorship, that we are planning with the help of MCC, will take place on the 22nd September at the Innovation Lab on the local ‘Wales 1 Business Park’. Further details of this will follow in mid-August.
This year we are quietly confident that we will raise the money for the GRIP study and move even further forward with our aspiration to open a station for Magor with Undy.
